Our story begins with a shared passion for vintage and antique items. From our home decor to the clothes we wear, our family has always had a love for the past, with a particular focus on vintage jewellery.  

It all started years ago when my mum ran a brocante shop in Friesland. After moving to Australia, she continued selling her finds online through eBay. When we returned to the Netherlands, she kept selling on platforms like Marktplaats and Vinted. As I grew up, I found myself constantly sorting through her collection, often wishing I could keep more of the beautiful pieces!  

I’ve spent years working in marketing, helping businesses with their online presence, and eventually realised that it was time for my mum and me to combine our skills and passion to create something together. This led to the founding of Third Avenue Jewellery.  

The name Third Avenue is a nod to the street we lived on in Australia—a reminder of the connection between us, even though we now live in different parts of the Netherlands. Mum is based in Friesland, and I live in Utrecht, but this business keeps us connected through our shared love of vintage jewellery.  

At Third Avenue Jewellery, we offer a carefully selected collection of vintage jewellery. Each piece is chosen with care, reflecting our appreciation for quality, history, and craftsmanship.
